The health and safety of attendees is a priority for Diversity Abroad. Together with the San Francisco Marriott Marquis, we continue to closely monitor the guidelines of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health authorities regarding COVID-19.. The hotels’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and include everything from handwashing hygiene, to cleaning product specifications for guest rooms and common area cleaning procedures.
Vaccines & Proof of a Negative Test
At this time, we ask all attendees to be fully vaccinated (at least 2 weeks prior to the conference) and that all attendees choosing to attend in-person will be required to provide proof of a negative antigen within 48 hours or pcr covid test within 72 hours of entering the hotel. No one will be admitted to conference events without this proof. If for health or religious reasons you are not able to be vaccinated, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You must follow all current CDC guidelines for travel, whether you’re flying international or domestic.
Diversity Abroad asks that all attendees, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks or face covering during conference related events except when eating or drinking.
We ask that attendees be mindful of each other’s comfort level when sharing spaces and letting attendees know about protocols such as whether it is okay not to handshake or hug and to always respect others’ personal space.
