The 2023 Strategic Leadership Forum – Global Learning at Home – will take place in Chicago, IL on November 3, 2023.
Through its Strategic Leadership Forum, Diversity Abroad brings together institutional leaders from across the nation to explore how Chief Diversity Officers, Senior International Officers, and other diversity and international education leaders can collaborate to address key issues at the intersection of diversity, equity, and inclusion and international education and exchange.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion play a critical role in higher education. Campus leaders must facilitate creating a work environment that prioritizes sense of belonging and values representation among staff and faculty, and equips staff and faculty to most effectively serve an increasingly diverse student body.
On November 3, 2023, Diversity Abroad will bring together institutional leaders from across the nation to explore how Chief Diversity Officers, Senior International Officers, and other diversity and international education leaders can strategically collaborate to engage faculty to advance DE&I and international goals of the university. The 2023 Strategic Leadership Forum will focus on global learning at home. Participants of the forum will engage in dynamic discussions about the opportunities and challenges faced through their work to bring this important topic to light. They will also have the opportunity to engage with fellow senior leaders/colleagues and ultimately walk away with a blueprint for meaningful collaboration to implement on their campus. A publication from the forum featuring the work of the group will follow.
